Choosing Your Hoop:
Hoop Weight:
- Light-weight - 3/4", 100 psi - excellent for tricks, especially hand-hooping. This hoop can be difficult for beginners to keep going, but is easy for more advanced hoopers. Light enough for easy hand-hooping without so much bruising.
- Medium-weight - 3/4", 160 psi - good for tricks and moves. Can still cause bruising on the hands, though.
- ($5 extra) Heavy-weight - 1", 160 psi - good for beginners, as the weight makes keeping it going around your waist much easier. As you get better, however, you'll probably want a lighter weight hoop so you can do tricks and moves without wrenching your arms or battering your hands.
Hoop Sizes:
The diameter of your hoop can be anywhere from hip-height to over-the-head-height, depending on how you want to use it. For beginners, a large hoop is good, maybe chest-height or even chin-height. For more intermediate or advanced hoopers, a medium hoop, probably about belly-button height is best, as this reduces a lot of the weight of the hoop, and the hoop won't hit the ground so much when you're trying to do vertical tricks. For the $25/$30 basic hoop (light, medium, or heavy) hoop, choose between 36" and 48" inside diameter; for $40 you may order a larger hoop in a heavy weight, up to 66". You can also get a BIG hoop, between 72"-78" (6 feet-6.5 feet) in diameter, for tandem hooping or just for fun, slow, easy hooping (see below).

Collapsible into two-four sections - $50.00 + $18 shipping
We offer a tandem hoop, made of 1" 160 psi, which is designed for two people to hoop together. These are generally about 6' in diameter, even as large as 6'5". You can request slightly smaller or larger, of course. Because these hoops are so large, we've designed them to be collapsible into two-four sections. I drive a Toyota Echo, and my two-piece tandem hoop fits nicely in the back floorboard area.
How it works: All hoops are put together with a standard grey connector. We use two-four connectors, and grind the teeth off of one end of each one. The connector stays in the hoop permanently on the one end, and the other smooth end allows the hoop to come apart easily. Please know that when you put the hoop together, you will *have* to tape it to keep it from flying apart on you. Just get some basic electrical tape to wrap around the connection a few times, and then pull it all off when you're ready to pack it up again (fold one end of the tape over so you can pull it off easily).
Tape Colors and Types:

You can mix & match duct and vinyl tape. You may choose two colors for the basic $25 hoop, or
you may add an additional color for $5. Vinyl tape adds a little extra weight; duct tape adds more
weight and is more grippy, but tends to wrinkle on the hoop. We also have black friction tape
available for $5; combined with a
vinyl tape, it adds a noticeable amount of weight to the hoop, but is good for learning and doing
certain tricks.

blaze orange, yellow, lime green.

Shipping & Returns:
Shipping: Shipping for basic hoops is $12 shipping & handling; shipping for additional
basic hoops, shipped in the same order to the same address, is an extra $4 per additional hoop.
Shipping for a large heavy hoop is $15; shipping for a tandem hoop is $18; shipping for
additional large or tandem hoops (same size, same order, same address) will be an extra $6 per
additional same size hoop (for combining different size hoops in the same order, please contact
us first for shipping rates.) In-stock hoops will
ship out within two business days; all other hoops will ship out within 7 days of your order (we
custom-make the hoops to your specifications, so please allow plenty of time!). Shipping is
available to the U.S. only; no shipping to Canada or overseas at this time.
Returns: Refunds will be given in full (less shipping charges) provided the hoop is received by us within 30 days of original shipping date and is in original condition (hoop in good shape, tape not scratched up or marked). Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges.
